Clipsift respects intellectual property rights. Clipsift does not permanently host user-requested media, but we will review valid copyright complaints related to use of the service.

Submitting A Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work is being infringed through Clipsift, send a DMCA notice to dmca@getclipsift.com with:

  • Your full name, organization if applicable, and contact information.
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The specific URL or identifying information related to the allegedly infringing material.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights owner, agent, or law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Action We May Take

After reviewing a valid notice, we may block processing for specific URLs, remove cached metadata, limit access, or take other reasonable action.

Counter Notices

If you believe a restriction was applied by mistake, you may contact us with relevant details and a lawful basis for your request.

Repeat Abuse

We may restrict users or requests that repeatedly abuse Clipsift or use it for infringing activity.
